Sad News

Message from Mommy :

I'm going to take a few days off blogging and commenting to mourn the sudden death of my tortoise, Bronto.  She passed away today, 10 February 2012 from extensive injuries sustained in an accident involving a car.  She has been with me since 1998.  Her friend, Dino, was with us as we buried her in our garden.

I know she is crawling around happily at the beautiful gardens at the Rainbow Bridge and probably looking around for human toes to nibble on. Until we meet again, Bronto, enjoy the neverending supply of grass at the Rainbow Bridge!  Mommy loves you.

    oh you deeply saddened me. I am so sorry. I know how awfully painful it can be to loose a little loved one. I lost Mumu my beloved shitzu a few years ago and I still miss him. So sorry sweetie.

    Oh, we are very sorry to hear this. It is so hard to lose our beloved companions. We are sending healing thoughts to you, and we know your sweet Bronto will be waiting for you someday when the time comes. We aren't sure if she likes hanging out with kitties, but we think our beloved Mr. Teeth will welcome her to the lovely grassy fields just over the Bridge. XOXOXO

    I'm sure sister tortoise is happy over the rainbow bridge.

    This reminds me so much of my lost turtle... :( His name was Chipy. He escaped his pond.
