Baby Update

Remember the tortie baby that I'm fostering? She was found on January 21, 2012 as an abandoned newborn, so that makes her 5 weeks old today!  She is doing very well, smaller than what a momcat nursed 5 week old would be, but is very playful, active and super adorable. When my Mom saw her, she called her "Tutu" and she responded!  LOL.

While Cosmo and Ling have accepted her without any hissing, it was Uncle Boomer who was happiest to have a brand new baby to play with!

Don't you just love that I have 2 white toes on each foot?  Heehee.

Happy Belated 12th Birthday, Whisky!

My birthday was actually on February 18, 2012 but because Mommy wasn't ready to celebrate then, I told her it was okay if we delayed it.  Now she's ready, so here we go!

It was love at first sight between Mommy and me and our love for each other gets stronger with each passing day. When she first took me home, she had no idea I would have such long fur! My baby photos were taken with a still camera so please pardon the poor quality.

My first day in my forever home! I didn't bark for over a year as I had no idea how to until Mommy showed me. Instead of barking, I would snort because my role model was Looppy, my bunny sister. BOL.

I slept a lot during the first few weeks with Mommy

And I was very flexible too

It was at about this point that Mommy started to worry about my fur length 

As I grew up, the hints of light brown on my ears disappeared and I became pure white

Here I am today, 12 years young!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, my precious Whisky.  You will always be my Baby Girl, no matter what your age. Mommy and Daddy loves you so very much!

Thank you so much for your purrs, woofs and prayers.  Mommy appreciates it very very much.  She is still not 100% but is feeling better and ready to help us blog again. We missed all our furriends!

Sad News

Message from Mommy :

I'm going to take a few days off blogging and commenting to mourn the sudden death of my tortoise, Bronto.  She passed away today, 10 February 2012 from extensive injuries sustained in an accident involving a car.  She has been with me since 1998.  Her friend, Dino, was with us as we buried her in our garden.

I know she is crawling around happily at the beautiful gardens at the Rainbow Bridge and probably looking around for human toes to nibble on. Until we meet again, Bronto, enjoy the neverending supply of grass at the Rainbow Bridge!  Mommy loves you.

White White Update And Puffer Boomer

We released White White on 31 January 2012. His eyes are much better though he is partially blind in his left eye. He stayed around for 3 days before finding his way to the back after which, he decided he no longer knew me. Which is fine because that means he's feeling good.
