Happy 3rd Birthday, TUTU!

 

Tutu : Look what Mommy brought home! She says it's my birthday present. But what's so nice about water I can't play with?

Tutu : Oooooohhhhh!

Tutu : Hello little fishies...how do you like your new home?

Tutu : I love Fish TV!

Tutu : *HIGH FIVE* right back at ya!

Tutu : What are you staring at, Gourami Fishie? Never seen such a pretty kitty before?

Boomer : Whoa! Check out those round yellow ones! *licks lips*

Boomer : Dang it. My snack is protected by a forcefield!

Cosmo : It's going to take a while before they make a worthy snack. Can we give them more food, Mommy?

Ling : I choose THAT one!

Tutu : *HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MEEEEEEE*

Tutu : What? I've to share my presents? That's so wrong!

We're sorry for having been gone for so long. Mommy found it too hard to blog after Whisky's passing. Tutu was also grieving for Whisky which caused her to gain quite a bit of weight and she lost her desire to play and interest in things around her. She also stopped eating treats she used to share with Whisky. It took a while before Mommy realized the cause of Tutu's inactivity but once she did, she spent a lot of time helping Tutu recover and she's now back to her usual playful self though she still won't eat treats (still working on this!). She's also lost the weight she gained with the increased activity and a change in diet.

Then Mommy's maternal Grandmother left for the skies on November 17, 2014. On December 3, 2014, our tortoise sister, Dino, left for the bridge. January 6, 2015 saw Mommy's paternal Grandfather leave for the skies too. It's been a very challenging year and we are purraying for a better year ahead.

We are going to focus on the good things to come, starting with Tutu's 3rd Birthday today and we hope you will join us in celebrating her special day!

Boomer : I can't believe this. ANOTHER pawsome smelling package!
Whisky : I wonder if there's something in there for me?

The Party Mix was a major hit!
Tutu : I'm all ready for the Party Mix *rain*. Let the *rain* fall!

Meow-Me : YUMMY!

Felix : Move aside, Mama. It's MY turn!

Whisky : The Party Mix was nice but the Fruitables Apple Bacon Flavor was a whole lot yummier! And it's just for me too!

Boomer : This is one furry fun toy!

Boomer : It's in the shape of a fish (can you tell?) and smells good too!

Boomer : Definitely a lot more fun than the fish that goes round and round in the water upstairs

*Growl growl growl*

Cosmo : This mouse is MINE!

Cosmo : I'm going to make sure NO ONE messes with MY mouse
*munch munch munch*
Boomer : Are you trying to EAT that mouse, Cosmo?!

Oh Cosmo, that's just disgusting

Cosmo : I'm not done with it. Give it back!

Boomer : Seriously, Cosmo? That's just gross with a capital G
Tutu : Yeah, YUCK! I'm not touching that

Cosmo : Heh heh. My plan worked! Now to make THIS fish mine

Cosmo : Darn it. Those fluttering bits make it so difficult to munch on

COSMO! You've got to share the toys, okay?
Cosmo : *sulk*
Ling :  Finally!

Ling : Now, where can I play with this in peace?

Ling : I know! I'll go upstairs

Ling : Time for some you and I fun, Flying Fishie!

We want to thank Twinkletoe Tails and their Mom Paula for such a pawsome package! Mommy has to hide the toys because Cosmo is determined to EAT them! Daddy was like Cosmo when he saw the M&M and he FINISHED the whole packet!

We're sure you see some very interesting costumes that came with the package. Mommy put them on *some* of us and was laughing too hard to take nice photos. Sadly for us, she said she is going to give it another try so we're going to camp out at the catio where she can't get us.

A Surprise Package

For Cody's 5th Birthday, he had a huge give-away and we won a surprise from him and Mommy Caren! And the package has arrived! Woo hoo!
