Happy Very Belated Gotcha Day, Boomer and Happy Gotcha Day, Cosmo and Ling

: Flashback to April 2011 :
Whisky : Look what I found, Mommy! Can we keep him?
Boomer's 3rd Gotcha Day was on April 28, 2014 but that was when Whisky was very ill before she earned her wings a week later. No one was in the mood to celebrate so Boomer agreed to a postponement. He did go over to Katie's home
 for dinner prepared by Katie's Mom  :)

Boomer : Mommy made this long sausage like pillow filled with silvervine powder just for ME!

Cosmo : Ahem. For US, Boomer, US

Cosmo : Speaking of which, it's MY turn now
Boomer : ?????

Boomer : OH NO you don't! It's MINE!

Ling : Jeez. Is he at it again?
Cosmo : Yup. Being an absolute brat about our pillow
Ling : Shall we make our move then?

Boomer : ♪♫ It's my GOTCHA DAY celebration todayyyyyyyyyyyy! ♪♫

Boomer : OH oh...The twins are making their move

:: P O U N C E ::

Boomer : *SHOCKED*

Boomer : Mommy! Aren't you going to call FOUL? Unbelievable!
Cosmo : MINE, now

Cosmo : This pillow is just purrfect

Ling : Silly boys! Why must they insist on playing with the same thing when there so many options available?

Ling : Well, at least I get to enjoy the silvervine powder Mommy sprinkled here in peace while the boys *fight* over that pillow

Happy 6th Gotcha Day, Cosmo and Ling! You are the ones who convinced Daddy that cats make excellent additions to the family.  :)  We can't believe it's been 6 years since that day Whisky and Mommy found you in the drain.

And a Happy Very Belated 3rd Gotcha Day, Boomer! Convincing Daddy a 6th cat was needed to make the family *complete* (then) was tricky but you did it! So so glad Whisky found you in our garden 3 years ago. :)

Happy 2nd Birthday, Tutu!

Tutu : Halo? HALO? Room service, please?
Errr. I'm actually behind you, little baby
Tutu : Well, my eyes haven't open so can you blame me?

Tutu : Waaaaaaa! I don't want scritches. I want milk!

Tutu : This isn't my milk bottle...

* STOMP STOMP STOMP *
Tutu : Stop messing around, will you? Give me my bottle!

Tutu : Milk? Milllkkk, where are you?

* S U L K *
Tutu : The service here stinks and I'm going to give them something that REALLY stinks. Hrummppffffff

Tutu's spine fracture at the age of almost 4 months inspired the building of the CATIO BY GRANDPA. It was to allow the kitties a safe access to the "outside" to get some sun therapy which is important for bone health

Tutu : Milk? MILK?

Tutu : I can't believe this. 2 years on and I STILL need to "beg" for my milk

Tutu : I'm a big girl now and I don't drink from milk bottles!

Tutu : Ahhhhh. That's more like it. I love my milk!

Happy Belated Gotcha Day, Meow-Me!

This was Meow-Me when I caught her on November 20, 2010

She was HUGE!

But yet so thin and had very bad skin and fur. She gave birth to Coco and Felix 2 weeks later, battled Mastitis and it took a long time to fix her skin and fur but it was all worth it because.....

Meow-Me : I'm coming over, so get your hands ready for a petting session!

*scratch scratch scratch*
Meow-Me : Ahhhhhhhhhh

Meow-Me : If you whap my butt at the right spot, I start licking the floor. Tee hee

HAPPY BELATED GOTCHA DAY, Meow-Me! We love you, your cute round shape (despite whatever diet I put you on) and your raspy Marge Simpson meows!

Whisky : We won a giveaway on Twinkletoe Tails for a pack of Trading Cards from Just4MyPet. We had an emergency meeting to see who got to be on the cards and of course it was going to be ME! Silly kitties

Whisky : The cards were sent out very quickly after we placed the order and it arrived 2 weeks later (which is normal for mail coming from the US). Doesn't it look great? I sat with Mommy to choose the pictures and the design template. What do you think?

Cosmo, Ling and Tutu are back to their usual self and are spending the days hanging out together in my office while we wait for Boomer to make a full recovery (yes, the poor boy caught the bug on Nov 16) which shouldn't be long now (he's finally gotten past the worst bit).

It's been 24 days since Stinky fell ill and the kids caught the bug one after the other. I'm glad it's finally going to be over. We'll be coming over to visit so, see you guys soon! We've missed everyone!

Happy 5th Gotcha Day, Cosmo and Ling!

On August 2, 2008, Mommy and Whisky found us in a drain while on their walk. Mommy thinks someone put us in a big plastic bag and threw us in the drain by the playground. She found us close to the bag with a chewed hole. We looked miserable as the weather was really hot and it didn't look like we could get out of the drain on our own. So she picked us up and brought us home

Ling : We were afraid of Mommy and Daddy for weeks and won't go near them. It took lots of patience to win our trust but Mommy and Daddy persevered! When I finally jumped on the bed to sleep with Mommy, she was so happy she almost cried!

Cosmo :  Here we are looking at the playground where we were found. And thankful that's all in the past and that we now have a safe home

Ling : I protect Mommy from any cockroaches that might try to sneak into the house

Cosmo : Mommy says my paws had better not let go of that spring or I'll be in for a rude surprise...but why?

Ling : I love it when Daddy squeezes my tummy! I'll always be Daddy's Little Girl!

Happy 2nd Gotcha Day, Boomer!

We are a day late in celebrating Boomer's 2nd Gotcha Day but he didn't mind! Boomer's an easy going Mancat!

Boomer : I received a brand new Silvervine P-Low! Can you tell I'm really happy? :p

Boomer : I love, LOVE LOVE my new pillow!

Boomer : Oh it smells SOOOOOOO good!

Boomer : I received a brand new box too!

Boomer : AND a new feather! But the best present of all.....

even if it isn't *new*, is my VERY OWN playmate!
Tutu : OW! I know you're excited and all, but watch it!

Boomer : Tutu and I are the only ones with no blood furbling among us kitties
(Cosmo and Ling are brother / sister, Meow-Me, Coco and Felix are mama / daughter / son)

Boomer : We have so much fun together!

Boomer : We even play with the Turbo Track together

Boomer : I am so grateful to have my very own family! And Katie Isabella, the most beautiful Ladycat in the world!
