Thankful Thursday

We want to thank all our furriends who commented on our previous post. Because of our fear of strangers, Mommy thinks it is probably best to take us to the vet rather than have a vet do a home visit as that might make us more fearful. As for the vaccination protocol, she will go with "less is more". YAY!  Thank you again for sharing your views with us!

What is your order today, kids?
I recently started the kids on a raw diet which only appeal to Whisky, Boomer, Tutu and Felix. Coco will eat raw turkey but not raw kangaroo. Cosmo, Ling and Meow-Me won't touch it
Tutu : Raw Turkey!
Whisky : Raw Chicken for me, thank you!
Boomer : Mine would be Raw Kangaroo!
Felix : I don't mind some raw kangaroo too!
And you, Coco?
Coco : MEH
A full tummy makes for a happy mancat.....
Like a python after a meal, the little girl sleeps....and there is peace in the house of Whisppy
Ahhhhh. This is the life....dreaming of kangaroos perhaps?
But all too quickly, the little girl is up and on the go again...
Tutu : Hey Spitty! Come on over and I'll teach you how to have lots of fun with a towel!
Tutu : But NO DROOLING on my towels!

We are so thankful for this super yummy diet (and towels)!

I am glad you were given some good advice re vaccinations. Austin has an annual booster and doesn't react badly, but know that some do. If I wanted to put him in kennels for any length of time they wouldn't take him without! We don't need rabies shots in the UK.

The raw food is obviously a hit!!

Wow we'd love a raw diet. It is so hot here we have our wet food in the fridge so we can eat it cold and cool down. Have a tremendous Thursday.
Best wishes Molly

All of your babies are gleaming and beautiful and healthy. Mom and I are curious as to how they do in the long run with a raw diet. I am sure it's going to be very good for them.

That was from Mommy: THIS is from me...Boomie..you are looking fabulous lying there with your sweet paws all folded. Come on over and bring the jerky please. xoxoxoxox We will snuggle in my old bed and soon we can snuggle in my NEW bed. Mommy bought me a new one! It will be here today.

We promise we won't drool on your towel Tutu. We would love to try raw meat but we're sure Mum won't be feeding us any as she hates touching it!! She uses cling film to pick up Hannah's raw chicken and put it in a dish to cook in the oven. Sighs..................

Glad you got good ideas from friends about house call and vaccination.
I've decided to try raw food for my boys, too! I just ordered yesterday! I sure didn't see kangaroo though. Maybe not sold in the U.S. :-) They are on wet food now. Goro's stomach is delicate and Niko is picky eater, so I will try to give little by little...hopefully they will like it.
I love napping photos. So cute :-) Have happy kangaroo dreams :-)

Kangaroo! Now that must be interesting. We go with the less is more approach too. It definitely works well for us.

I get annual vaccinations since I go on catshows and a lot of outdoor walking´s and we don´t think the farmer has his cat´s vaccinated at all ?!
We don´t need rabie´s shots in Sweden either and not if we go to Norway either , but in all other countrys we need ta take it to entry.
XOXO

How fun to see so many of you in one post! You all look so healthy and happy. It's not often I get to see Tutu sleeping. :) I bet that picture had to be snapped quickly!

Raw kangaroo?? Does it come in a pouch?? ;)

Kangaroo! We don't think we could get that here. Let us know what you think of the raw diet and how you think it benefits you after you've been using it a while. We're really interested to hear the experience of someone switching.

I've thought about feeding the dogs a raw diet but just haven't quite convinced myself yet! Hope all goes well with yours!

I don't know if I'd like raw foods. Glad you're enjoying them.

raw meat seems only natural for felines - I have not had any luck with getting my brood to like it - guess they get used to cooked stuff and it's hard to change their tastes

Pet lovers please check out my homeless cat blog archives for some fun and informative posts and archived stories about the cat abandoned/feral colony I manage.

Ha, ha! Tutu is the first up! We haven't tried a raw diet. Our mom is so squeamish we aren't sure she'd survive it.

Dear Boomie, the weekend it is. We will explore the new toys, lay in the new beddie and follow the sunpuddles. So far I keep laying in my OLD beddie and won't try the new one. Can you help me get in? I fink mommy can make us some chick-hen. <3<3<3

Good for all of you to eat that raw food. Our Mom really doesn't want to try that with us. Tutu, you look like you are on top of things. Take care.

Humphrey, has never tried raw, but if I know him he would eat Raw, cooked, and well prepared anyway!

Of COURSE I will be right over to learn the ancient art of Towel Manipulation from your expert self. That picture of you sleeping is furry exciting too--I would luff to rest my weary head on your sweet shiny little rump XOXOXOXOXOXO

:)))))))) My babies love raw meet too, especially my eledest of 19 years old, a Birman cat. Boomer is getting more and more handsome every day, how old is he?

I keep reading about raw diets. I realize that they "supposedly" don't have a bunch of byproducts and cereal. How can you be sure? And I worry about bacteria and parasites that are in the meat as it hasn't been cooked. Do you think all your kids are healthier eating this? No matter what, they are all ADORABLE! Janet

My mom was thinking about feeding me raw too... But I don't know how I will feel about that. And I don't see anywhere really selling raw cat food for me to try it 1st.

Seville at Nerissa's Life said...

Raw food? Nope. None of that here. I've got a couple of veggies on my paws, you see. If they fed me anythin' raw, it would probably be a plate of lettuce! MOUSES!

Purrs,
Nissy

PS... I do, occasionally enjoy a little raw grass, however.

Less is more for me too! Well, glad to hear Mommy is going to bring you to the vettie.

I only have the pack vaccinated once in every 3 years. Sometimes, I make it 5. My mom's dogs only get a complete set of vaccination on the first year and nothing more, except for anti-rabies.
