As I was on the computer, I noticed Ling playing with what I thought was a litter pellet and I smiled to myself, thinking, "how cute". A while later, I went in to clean up the place and realized it was NOT...I'll let the pictures tell the story.

| After doing some CSI work on the cords and how they they were severed and the location of some of the severed cords, we realised that the culprit was actually Bernie. He severed the cords to all 4 standing speakers AND the sub woofer AND the radio antenna. His punishment? NO BANANAS till next year. Naughty Bernie! |
It was really funny when I told Daddy about the cords. I think the cats could sense his fury and Cosmo ran to hide in the storeroom while Ling stayed upstairs. They only came out when we told them we know who the REAL culprit was.
We got everything fixed and the speakers are working again so all is well. Bernie is now no longer allowed outside of the boarding room without supervision until we get proper cord protectors.

Oh he was REAL norty, wasn't he??? I think it's lucky NEXT Christmas is still so far away. Santa will forget this by then, LOL!
Oh, and, no, the Human did NOT lie down on her back. She stood there like a perfect lady and took her pictures. (Also, if she *had* lain down on the floor, she would still be there because she could never have gotten up again, MOL! Have I mentioned she's, um, OLD????)

(You may want to get some wire or cord protectors...our mom has them on some things around here because Ernie really likes chewing on wires.)
Awww, Bernie, you look so cute and innocent but we've heard that bunnies love to chew cords. You only have a few days until you can have a banana again. Hang in there!

Our Buster loves to gnaw on cords too, but we always catch him so we shoo him away. We don't know if he does this when we're at work, but so far we don't have a victim yet.

Last night, the Human took a washcloth, dipped her finger in The Good Stuff and then rubbed her finger on the washcloth (she did it twice). Then she gave me the washcloth. It was WONDERFUL, just the purrfect amount. I think she OD'd me a little the first time. But I enjoyed rubbing that little cloth all over me. It was pawsome! XOXOXO
