Our Pawrents Have Gone Nuts

Mummy and Daddy went out this evening and brought this wierd thing home
What is it, Mummy?
It's called a net
Oh.  What is it for?

It's meant for fish but can be used to catch little doggies like you too.  Hee hee

Lemme out!  Lemme OUT!

It can be used to catch little kitties too
Help me, Felix!!

Don't worry, big sis!  I'll get you out!

Freedom!! Thanks, little bro!
Mummy here : We bought this net to see if we can catch Mr Black with it.  Mr Black has proven to be extremely elusive and too smart for his own good.  He won't go near the trap though he would eat the tuna when placed far away from the trap. Unfortunately, there have been new intact males that have encroached into his territory and the ensuing fights have resulted in him injuring his hind leg and he is now limping.  We hope to catch him real soon and get his leg and mange treated and also have him neutered. I find that time is no longer on our side, especially with the injury to his leg so I need to resort to using a net.  I don't think it will be easy with the net either but we'll see. Wish me luck!

We tried using the net with our furries and it is very effective. Don't worry.  No furkids were harmed during our little experiment and they probably thought it was a new game.  :-)

Aw, I am sure they thought it was a game!! Although, sometimes I would love to catch Finn in it and have her slow down a sec!

Oh, my goodness...A net's not something that ever would have occurred to our mom, but it might work. Good luck. But uh, if you get him in it, how do you get him out of it and into a PTU?

Good luck with that. IT sounds like Mr. Black needs to be caught and treated soon so I hope you are very fast and can catch him.

Sometimes us critters don't know when something is good for us.

I can just imagine what Mr Black's face is going to look like if you manage to catch him in that net, but sometimes needs must.
The picture of Felix 'helping' made me chortle too :)

Best of luck to you in catching Mr. Black!

Good luck! We had a cat like that - he actually was able to make it into the trap, grab the food, and back out without setting it off. We finally got him, but it took a really long time.

Your pal, Pip

Still, I hope they catches Mr. Black because it would be good for him. They better haff big gloves for after they catches him though. XOXO

Hope this manages to do the trick. But ouch is that injury going to cost you! Our tuxie stray cat is now over Rm500 in debt but he is looking good. And he's a sweetie which I bet your Mr Black is too.
