Felix : What is this on my neck? It's your new collar and tag. Like it? |
Felix : Unless it's something I can eat, I don't like it |
Felix : And I'm going to get it off! |
Felix : Err...Mommy? I think I might be stuck... |
Felix : I'll GET YOU OFF, you terrible neck strangler thing you! |
Felix : My poor tongue needs a break. Stop laughing, Mommy! |
Felix : I am Felix and I don't give up! |
Felix : WILL YOU get off already!? |
Felix : I'll try a different method...I'll lift up my head to make my neck as looooonng as possible, reach down...and... |
Felix : THERE! See! I told you I'll get it off! |
* S N A P * Felix : HEY!? What just happened? |
Felix : Arrrrghhhhhh! Meow-Me, Coco and Felix only wear their collars under supervision. Until they get used to the idea...which, judging from this, might take a while. ;) |

Oh my goodness me! Felix, I can imagine how that must be. Momma wants me to wear a collar as jewelry for me (HA!!) but she knows I would be like you and try to get it off. You are furry brave.
pee ess to Boomie: That was great fun last night in the hammick with the jerky treats. Fanks to your mama for giving us that time. Tutu can come over to my place for a playdate.
Good job getting that collar off Felix. Glad to hear you all don't have to wear those collars all the time. A friend of ours had a dog with a collar and it got caught on something, and the dog died of strangulation. I know those are probably break away collars. Have a great day.
Felix we were doing our happy dance when you got that collar off - now we'll have to try and send you something to cut it off with as it looks much tighter (it will be in a plain brown wrapper so you can keep it hidden).
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Aagggh, Felix, we don't blame you for wanting that collar off. It's a great collar and all, nice colour for you, but even so...shudder.
OMD that is so funny. Felix we just know you are now going to practice getting it off in record time. Bravo to you. Have a tremendous Thursday.
Best wishes Molly
I guess the only encouragement I can give you is to be thankful it isn't a cone of shame!
Oh my yes, that will take getting used to fur sure!
Felix, estou morrendo de rir!!
Mas preciso admitir você é muito persistente e muito esperto também!
Espero que você aceite sua tag nova, porque você ficou muito bonito com ela.
Sorry Felix... I´m laughing!!!! And laughing more!!!!
Teh last photo is amazing funny!!!!!!!
You´re adorable!
LOL! Felix, you are too too funny! You worked so hard to get the neck strangler thingy off...then it came back to snap just like that. Poor baby! (And sorry for laughing!)I hope you can get used to it some day :-)
I had a cat like that once. I won't put collars on mine because they go outside. Even break away collars. I've had experience where they don't break away. Too much danger of getting caught on bushes and the like. Not to mention all of the wire and fencing around here.
Felix the first time Mom tried puttin a collar on Boo (back in 2004) she reacted like she been electrocuted. That ended collars. Try that and see what happens. MOL
He is cute!
My Ragdolls used to do that! Now they don't!
hahahaha that is so silly Felix,xx Rachel
Oh how awful! I'm glad Mum doesn't make me wear one of those collar neck strangle things!
Pee Ess -- Mum's still laughing at your pictures....especially that last one!
Why don't you teleport on over here to my house and I'll help you get the collar off.
Purrs,
Nissy
Yikes pal, I know what you are going thru. It took a couple of weeks for me to get used to mine. Now she wants to put a new dangle on it, which means starting all over again.
Hi. Thanks for commenting.

Oh Felix how clever you are for removing your collar. When you get used to wearing one, it's not too bad. We wear ours all the time, but Buster's fall off when he does something naughty.
Emma and Buster
You're really flexible, Felix! We think your mom can out-patient you. Well... maybe. The first time Ashton had a collar on, she jumped around like a bucking horse. But she wears one now. Maybe you'll get used to yours, too.
MOL! Felix, I did that too when I first started wearing my collar. After awhile, you don't even know it's there.
Ernie
Full points for determination Felix!
You might just win that battle ;) heehee
We do not wear collars,whew!

Felix, that was dirty pool! We'll distract your mom while you take that infernal thing off.
Our mom is reading a book about Lao refugees during the Vietnamese war, and they mentioned how they longed for durians. And because of you, I knew what they were talking about, and the dubious nature of the durians too.
lol.. I put the collars right back on when the kitties take them off too. and I get pretty much the same reaction
Felix Dude you HOUDINI .. I don't think we have laughed so much watching your tongue, trying to get that collar off.. too funny xxooxxx
Mollie and Alfie
Felix I don't blame you one bit! I HATE collars and that's why I don't wear one. Mom hates them too!
Felix, we are impressed with your escape skills! Our angel cat Maggie was the same way. We would always find her collar laying on the floor. Ha ha.
Soon you'll forget it's there. We did! :)
Mwahahaha Felix! I would be exactly the same!!
Awwwwww poor Felix! ^..^
we are loud to run around Totally Nekkid, Ana iz de only one who haz to wear sumthin called "Jewelry" when she goes owtside. It haz a little bell on it fur warning purposez and jus in case she decidez she's not coming in when she iz suppose to, de mom can *Locate* her.

Good job sweet Felix, you are very tenacious! Yep, looks like it may take awhile for you to want to wear that collar. If Mumsy put one on any of us we would probably take it off and hide it. :) Hugs and nose kisses
MOL! You made us giggle too! We think you and Tutu look great in your new collars though!
Felix I feel you dood those collars are not my thing you have some skills to get it off.
I'm not a huge fan of collars (always worried about them getting caught), but hopefully they adjust!
I am here! Sorry busy busy!!
Thanks,for comin' by!
Ouch! I can feel that snap from here You OK? Maybe that will convince the human to give up.
LOL! Felix is not used to have a collar? Purrs and hugs to you!
Felix the green bell really has your lovely eyes looking outstanding , and the shade of green on the color show off your beautiful white fur ~ would be a shame not to wear it !

Felix dood, two out of two boycats over here feel EXACTLY THE SAME. (don't even THINK about it mommy)
Oh Felix, I don't blame you one bit there buddy. My Human was trying to get me to wear a collar too and I kept licking it and sticking my tongue under too.
Hahaha! Thank you for the good laugh, felix.
Felix! Fantastic job! I think it was cruel and unusual punishment that your Human put that dam* thing right back on you! Hisssssssssssses to her.
I understand that feel.
My human did that to me years ago.
I can't get it off, either.
And I use my back feet scratch it and my neck everyday, and after a half year, that collar break and off~
HA HA HA , you look to funny trying to get that off Felix :)
XOXO
Did I miss out on something... I thought you were a new member! Very very handsome new member.
I like the collar. It looks good on you.
Our mommy gets a kitty who comes to live at our house a collar and name tag immediately. And we have all done what Felix did. Fiona was naked when the humans recently returned from a ten-day trip. Mom still hasn't found the collar after searching the entire house. Luckily she found one of Fiona's old collars and tag. Hope all you kitties get used to your new collars quickly. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
