Whisky : Mommy....you know I need to taste test that, right?

Whisky : Oooff. Where did you come from. Go away!
Ling : I have to taste test for the kitties!

Into the dehydrator they go...

Tutu : I've appointed ME to stand guard
But honey, you sure you want to? This is going to take a couple of hours

Many MANY hours later........
Tutu : I'm bored, I'm tired and my tummy is rumbling. Is it ready yet?

Tutu : GO AWAY! I was here first
Cosmo : *brat*

Cosmo : I'll do the sniff test...Smells like it's READY!

Cosmo : ....and now the taste test

C O S M O !!!!!!

Okay kids...the jerky is ready. Who wants a piece?

Tutu had to be scruffed or she would have taken everyone's piece

Boomer takes his piece politely while Meow-Me waits her turn

Daddy : You're a little tubby so you're going to have to dance for your piece, Meow-Me

Meow-Me : Why would you even think I'm tubby?

Meow-Me : Can't you see how shapely I am?

It was also time to make a fresh batch of food for the kids

Ling : *nom nom nom*

Whisky : I've finished mine. Can I please have some more?

I decided to cook for Whisky after her health scare some years ago. Then when Cosmo had 2 blockages before he turned 2 years old, I decided to cook for all the kitties too. And what a positive difference it's made.  :)

Recently, there have been many incidents concerning Jerky made in China. Those made in the USA were hard to come by so I decided to make my very own. It makes me feel much better knowing exactly what goes into the food the furries consume. :) And having the furries LOVE what I make is icing on the cake.
